A terrorist group (alleged ISIS militants) took over a city in one province in my country. They’re burning schools and universities and it was reported (no confirmation yet) that they’ve beheaded the chief of police. They took over a hospital and are blocking the entry and exit points of the city. They freed detained inmates. Buildings are on fire. Electricity was cut. Hospital employees were taken as hostages. Govt officials (who are far from the city, btw) are calling it ‘propaganda’. THEY’RE DOWNPLAYING THIS. People are terrified and the only way the news could reach us is through social media.

My love and prayers go to Manchester but please, if you could spare a second, give Marawi City the same love.
